Halloween Parade 25-26

Halloween Parade Information

image of a ghost with Husky eyes/earsOn Friday, October 31st starting at 2:40pm, Innovation students are invited to parade around the Innovation neighborhoods in costumes and then celebrate inside with their class.  Families may opt their child out of participation; a fun alternate activity inside will be provided.

A few things to know:

  1. Students should not wear costumes to school. They can bring costumes in a bag and change before the parade. All costumes must be able to be worn over clothing.
  2. Costumes must be school appropriate for all ages, PreK through 5th grade. Please no very scary costumes and no weapons of any kind.
  3. Parents/guardians are welcome to come and watch the parade from any point on the route map between 2:40 and 3:10. A route map can be found below. If you choose to attend, please plan to watch from the opposite side of the street so that we may use the sidewalks closest to the school. Class dismissal order: Ms. Smith’s 2nd grade class, then all classes from 5th, 4th, 3rd, remaining 2nd, Kinder, 1st, and finally PreK. There will be about 3 minutes between each grade level’s dismissal.
  4. Room parents who are approved volunteers may be in classrooms to set up during the parade. As always, they must check in at the main office.
